Jumpsuits have become a staple piece in our wardrobes. From different styles, cuts, prints and fabrics to choose from, these one-piece wonders create an instant look without having to think too much about your outfit. Dress it up or dress it down, they are as relatable to jeans when styling. Keep on scrolling to see what style best suits your silhouette.

Tall

Length and proportion come to mind when choosing the right style of jumpsuits that will compliment your height. Wide leg jumpsuits are a great choice if you are around or over 5’7 You have the height to work more fabric so just flow with it.

Curvy

Turn heads with free-flowing jumpsuits that compliment your curves! I would recommend jumpsuits with an elastic band at the waist or even belted jumpsuits as they add a natural waist line to your look.

Style Tip: Go for a Blouson Jumpsuit

Petite

Calling all girls around or under 5’2. Finding the right fit of a jumpsuit can be a little difficult to come by when considering length. Choose a style that is tailored to you. Something that is not drapey or oversized like a straight leg jumpsuit, cropped or culottes are great, as well as jumpsuits that are tapered at the ankles to give the illusion of looking taller.

Style Tip: Consider wedges when wearing a wide leg jumpsuit, that way you don't feel as if you are drowning in fabric.

Bridal

From the engagement party, to the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony or the reception. Jumpsuits have been on the bridal runway for some time now and is here to stay. The modern brides have an effortless approach for their ‘Big Day’ with a range of silhouettes and price points to suit their style and budget.

Don’t Hide The Girls

It’s all about balancing your proportions, try a style with a wide leg and a V cut top but not deep V. You should embrace the girls with flattering styles as seen below. You can also choose printed options like stripes that accentuate your waist and legs.

Wedding Guest

Jumpsuits are a chic alternative to a formal dress. There are a few things to consider when choosing this type of silhouette for a formal event. You should look for structured styles, the tailoring, fabric and neckline are some of what you should consider for a formal jumpsuit.

Tiny on Top

Choose styles that create the illusion of making your cup size bigger (if you want). Jumpsuits with ruffles, frills, pleats, pockets, zippers or any type of embellishment to your chest area create the illusion of curves. If you fall under this category you can get away without having to wear bras, go for those deep V's and backless jumpsuits.

Casual

Laid back looks, or relaxed everyday jumpsuits. Consider styles that are loose fitting, light fabrics, styles with drawstring belts and printed jumpsuits without too much design, are great for running errands or for a casual day.

Fun fact about me: Culottes are my go-to type of jumpsuit when running errands.
