From Christmas parties to New Years Eve, don’t stress over what to wear this Holiday season.
Everything you need is already in your closet!
Start by mixing different textures and colors to give yourself more of an autumn/winter look.
I personally love velvet, sequin, faux leather, metallics and jewel tones for the winter season.
Especially if I can’t dress in boots and coats (living in the Caribbean).
That's not going to stop me, or you from dressing for the season!
Check out these key pieces you should already have in your closet! And if you don’t, consider this to be a timeless guide to ‘must have’ staple pieces in your closet!
And always remember to get creative and wear something that’s uniquely you!
Classic LBD
Let’s start with the classic Little Black Dress!
Here you have the freedom to express your sense of style.
Either by mixing different metals when it comes to jewelry or by pairing it with statement earrings or statement shoes.
Sequin Pants
Get holiday ready with a pair of fancy pants! However, you should keep the rest simple. With a plain blouse or bodysuit, if you don’t want to look over done.
If you want to add more bling to your look I would suggest a chunky necklace.
I would wear this look with black skinny sequin pants, a white oversized button down shirt and some strappy high heel sandals.
Puffy Sleeve Jewel Tone
For a simple but classy look I would pair this top with some sleek black pants and a statement belt.
Statement earrings or necklace (not both) and a classic long strap shoulder bag to finish the look.
Velvet Blazer Dress
Another take on the LBD but with a twist! Pair this dress with matching heels and a statement clutch and you are good to go!
Metallic Maxi
If you’re used to wearing sequins for NYE switch it up this year by wearing metallic!
So many options and colors to choose from, don't limit yourself!
High-neck Jumpsuit
Pair this classy jumpsuit with some chunky earrings and a statement cuff on your wrist.
A great evening alternative to a dress!
Sequin Set
I personally find sets to be very playful!
You can either wear it as it, or do a simpler look with just the pants and a simple top.
Or vice versa, the blazer with plain black leggings or even flowy pants.
I actually have this set and I wore it as is. With the front of the blazer completely open with an array of necklaces.
Note: if you do that look don't forget your double sided tape!
Leather Dress
Feeling extra daring?
Be bold with red leather this Christmas season!
You are guaranteed to turn heads as you walk into the door!
Tulle Skirt
Fun and flirty with anything tulle this season!
A great look if you're feeling extra girly!
I would pair any poofy bottoms with a cute silk cami or bodysuit!
